Once in a lifetime there comes an opportunity which has come at exactly the right moment, when you were looking for something, but didn't know quite what it was you were seeking.

There is an old Chinese proverb "the teacher opens the door, but it is you who must step inside". That is exactly what happened when I received a face book message inviting me to join a transformation program. I dismissed it out of hand, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought why not? I'd had a difficult three years, and had let myself go.

My weight had ballooned and my confidence diminished. I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.I met Josh Woods, and the fact the he believed I could achieve my goals with his help, convinced me to take the plunge.
Before starting it all seemed very daunting, but Josh was there guiding us, cajoling us, praising and pushing in equal measure.

His knowledge of diet alternatives was exceptional. The group who went through the course together were all so supportive, and sharing our experiences helped enormously.

"When I joined the 8 week transformation, I was overweight, sluggish, lacking in energy, lazy, and fed up! I thought I was eating well, and couldn't understand why it was taking such a long time to shed the pounds.

I had lost some weight on my own, but I had got to the point where my weight had come to a stand still, and I needed motivation to keep going. In January, I saw an ad on Facebook, and I just knew it was the right time for me.

So I joined the programme. I started in February, and went for it! I was really strict with following the plan, and soon noticed a difference. I found the exercise tough to begin with, but it soon got easier. And then I started to enjoy it! In the 8 weeks, I lost 16 pounds, and 17 inches!!
I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I compared my pictures. I was so pleased, I was slimmer, fitter, happier, and far more confident than I had been in years. I have been so impressed with the changes, that I have continued most of the eating habits I put into practice on day one, and continued doing the workouts regularly.

My mindset has changed, I love how I feel now. In fact I am now such an exercise junkie that I have signed up for my first half marathon in April, followed by Tough Mudder 4 weeks later, and I can't wait! I can only put my new enthusiasm for life down to Josh believing in me, and teaching me that I CAN do anything I put my mind to. If anyone told me a year ago what I have planned for the next 6 months, I would have laughed. So, a huge thank you Josh.
